Privacy Policy
Lumoi is a desktop music visualizer that turns the sound playing on your computer into real-time visuals. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.
Data we collect
None. Lumoi does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. There are no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind.
Audio
Lumoi reads the audio input you choose (typically a loopback device such as BlackHole or VB-CABLE) to react to sound. That audio is analysed live on your device to drive the visuals — it is never recorded, saved, or sent anywhere. On macOS, accessing an audio input may require microphone permission; Lumoi uses it only to read the live signal.
Data stored on your device
The app saves a small amount of information locally on your device only, such as your settings and any presets you create. It never leaves your computer and is removed when you uninstall the app.
Network and permissions
Lumoi performs all processing on-device and makes no network requests in normal use. It does not access your location, contacts, camera, photos, or files.
Children
Lumoi is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
